Job summary

Victoria General Hospital in Victoria, BC is seeking a Radiological Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographs in a computerized environment, independently or with a radiologist, while upholding radiation safety for patients and staff.

You will complete documentation and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting, ensuring quality and safety in every procedure. CAMRT certification is mandatory, with provincial accreditation and eligibility for CAMRT membership.

Qualifications

Job Description

The Radiological Technologist works in a computerized environment, producing diagnostic radiographs as assigned and carrying out diagnostic procedures either independently or in collaboration with a radiologist or other physician; applies radiation safety principles and practices to protect patients, staff, and the general public; and completes required documentation and administrative tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Training And Experience

Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification as a Medical Radiation Technologist. Graduation from an approved radiology technology program. Eligible for membership in the CAMRT.
