TELUS Health is seeking a Senior Pension Calculation Analyst to join our team in Canada. You will identify test calculation scenarios, execute retirement calculations, verify results, and report anomalies across North America through multiple client projects.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage pension calculation tools to ensure accurate verification and administration of pension plans.

Formación

• University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or finance is required.
• Continuing education in actuarial science is an asset.
• Proficiency in pension calculation tools and Excel is expected.

• Communicates with functional leaders, business analysts to have a clear understanding of the scope of testing
• Analyzes technical documents to identify required test scenarios
• Executes and verifies the calculation results of the test scenarios, reports anomalies
• Keeps the test suite up-to-date with new features added or changes to existing features
• Participates in team meetings and calculation review sessions
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams for problem solving
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of verification processes

Join TELUS Health as a Senior Pension Calculation Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying test calculation scenarios that will ensure good test coverage, executing these test calculations using our retirement calculation software, verifying them, and reporting and tracking the resolution of identified anomalies.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

Education

• University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or finance
• Continuing education in actuarial science (an asset)

Experience

• 4 years of relevant experience in Canadian pension plan administration
• Experience in verification of pension plan calculations or/and

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in pension calculation tools
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar job management tool (asset)
• Fluency in English and French (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in Excel

• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Effective priority management

Salary Range:

$65 000,00 - 85 000,00 CAD
