Capital GMC Buick Edmonton is seeking a Quick Service Technician to keep vehicles safe on the road with fast, accurate maintenance and a frontline role that values craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Basic automotive knowledge or quick learner who enjoys taking things apart.

Responsibilities

• Knock out oil, lube, and filter changes with accuracy and speed.
• Run multi-point inspections on batteries, tires, lights, and fluids.

• Coordinate with Parts Team and Service Advisors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain shop equipment and build a personal tool collection.

What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like

You’re not just changing oil; you’re the doctor giving a car its health checkup. Here’s the main energy you bring every shift:

• The Core Basics: Knock out oil, lube, and filter changes with accuracy and speed.

• The Full Health Check: Run multi-point inspections on batteries, tires, lights, and fluids. Catch hidden issues before they turn into major breakdowns.

• Keep It Clean: Treat every customer’s ride like it’s your own - zero grease stains, zero messy footprints left behind.

• Squad Communication: Sync up with the Parts Team and Service Advisors so everyone stays in the loop and work flows smoothly.

• Tool Pride: Operate equipment like a pro, maintain shop gear, and build out your own technician tool collection.

What We’re Looking For

No need for 10+ years of master mechanic experience - we care way more about drive, curiosity, and reliability.

• Car Basics: You know your way around standard vehicle components and basic maintenance (or you’re a quick learn who loves taking things apart).

• Good Vibes Only: You bring a team-first attitude and aren’t afraid to step in and help a coworker when the shop gets busy.

• Detail Oriented: You document your work properly and care about doing the job right the first time.

• Must-Haves: A valid driver’s license and an accdriving record (you’ll be moving vehicles around the lot).
