The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree, significant experience in quantitative research, and strong expertise in data management and visualization. This role offers a chance to make a substantial impact on Indigenous students' pathways into post-secondary education. The position is contract-based until March 31, 2026, with a competitive hourly rate between $37.50 and $48.50.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in quantitative research and data management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in survey design, analysis, and data visualization.
  • Experience with Indigenous data and a strong commitment to Indigenous data sovereignty.

Responsibilities

  • Leading quantitative research projects within the ELM portfolio.
  • Cleaning, merging, and analyzing large datasets using statistical software.
  • Designing and implementing new survey instruments and oversee data collection.
  • Retrieving and integrating relevant datasets from external sources.
  • Producing research briefs, tables, and visual summaries to support publications.
  • Ensuring adherence to Indigenous data governance principles and OCAP.
