Job description

The Anti-Money Laundering, Tax Evasion and Data Acquisition Solutions Department interprets and enforces financial crime regulations, specifically those related to money laundering, proceeds of crime, and terrorist financing, and international tax evasion and economic sanctions. The quality assurance specialist is responsible for application quality. Their main role is to design, write, implement and carry out various tests (unit, functional, automated) to validate the quality and proper functioning of an application. They actively participate in establishing and implementing the business solutions quality strategy and have a mid- to large-scale area of focus. At the core of the project, they are responsible for activities that lead to the implementation of and compliance with the components in an integrated software quality approach. They use their skills to ensure that anomalies at all levels of testing, as well as their resolution, are well managed by the execution teams they work with throughout development. More specifically, you will be required to:

Responsibilities
  • Identify, input, analyze and interpret data to support testing phases, implementation strategies, quality assurance testing, decision-making and processes that monitor the application of management policies and practices
  • Review and approve detailed quality and testing strategies for targeted application teams
  • Develop or perform technical proofreading of cases and test scripts
  • Participate in quality review meetings
  • Prepare the system testing schedule with application teams, business teams and suppliers
  • Rigorously carry out the testing (manual and automated) assigned to you
  • Coordinate test preparation and test environments and data with the various teams involved
  • Follow up on test results with the application teams involved
  • Help other specialists define the scopes (stories, release, sprint, project, tests)
  • Work together to manage project anomalies
  • Analyze risks, write various reports, propose solutions, make recommendations and provide advice on how to implement them
  • Prepare and recommend action plans to address issues in accordance with rules and parameters

What you bring to the table
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in IT quality assurance
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Experience in test automation
  • Experience drafting and running test strategies and scenarios
  • Leadership experience in a multi-project environment
  • Experience with databases (complex SQL queries), files (CSV, XML, JSON) and tools (Python, Xray)
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Knowledge of collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
