Job summary

Michelin Waterville is seeking a Process Engineer to lead optimization of a designated manufacturing process in Nova Scotia. Entry-level training with classes and on-the-job mentoring will be provided by an experienced area expert.

You will contribute to quality planning, define corrective actions, test process changes, and support production quality and maintenance. Join a team focused on safety, efficiency, and sustainable mobility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering, or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing/industrial experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical awareness and the ability to work comfortably around mechanical equipment.
• The ability to develop digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Taking part in quality planning for products, materials, processes and methods.
• Establishing and implementing quality standards and ensuring compliance.
• Defining and implementing corrective and preventative action plans for improvement.
• Designing and carrying out tests to evaluate changes with raw materials, equipment, automation and/or overall process.
• Participating in quality planning, including feasibility studies.
• Participating in product start-ups and evolutions.
• Participating in projects and teams to resolve quality issues.
• Acting as a liaison between local and global customers to resolve issues.
• Supporting operations by monitoring production quality, performance, and maintenance problems and participating in necessary corrections.
• Assisting in maintaining the product model.
