The Role:

Up to £55k DOE | Onsite | South Devon

This newly created position offers the opportunity to take a lead role in shaping and driving quality strategy across multiple business units. The Quality Manager will be instrumental in ensuring best-in-class quality systems, leading operational excellence initiatives, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. This is a hands‑on leadership role with strategic impact, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver exceptional quality standards.

Responsibilities of the Quality Manager:
  • Lead and embed a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all functions.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and audit programmes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Drive performance excellence through risk‑based assurance, KPI development, and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Act as the primary quality representative for clients, regulatory bodies, and external audits, ensuring exceptional stakeholder engagement.
Requirements of the Quality Manager:
  • Proven track record in Quality Management, ideally within aerospace, defence, or a similarly regulated sector.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100 and quality management systems, with lead or internal auditor qualifications.
  • Demonstrable leadership and team development experience, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with a passion for operational excellence.
