Job summary

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions in St. Thomas, Ontario, is hiring Quality Inspectors to support manufacturing and warehouse sites. The role focuses on inspections, data collection, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Initial pay is $17.60/hour with a $1.25 shift premium for afternoon and night shifts. No prior experience is required; blueprints are a plus and a reliable vehicle is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.
• Check/inspect manufactured parts or products for defects and read/work from instructions.
• Use measuring or testing equipment as needed.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and display excellent customer service.
• Comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies.
• Collect and record data.
• Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Overall Purpose of the Quality Inspector

Provide Quality services and support for all missions assigned to a manufacturing or warehouse site while ensuring a healthy and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Client Relationship & Business Development

• Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria

Operations

• Check/inspect manufactured parts or products for defects
• Read and follow work instructions and general processes
• Use measuring or testing equipment as needed
• Ensure products meet quality standards
• Display excellent customer service
• Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies

Organization & Management

• Collect and record data

Technical

• Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements

• Any other duties as assigned
