Job summary

Interac Corp. is seeking a Quality Engineering Senior Specialist in Canada to lead testing efforts and ensure high-quality releases across Real Time Rail systems.

You will design and implement automated and manual testing, support UAT, and collaborate with Product, Development, and Operations teams to mitigate risks and improve delivery. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Testing, or a related role.
• Exposure to test automation tools and modern software delivery practices.
• Ability to analyze issues, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality, reliable releases through effective test planning, execution, quality engineering, and automation practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual testing approaches that support release readiness and product quality.
• Execute functional, integration, and non-functional testing activities, ensuring issues are identified, tracked, and resolved prior to release.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), review test results, and provide recommendations on release readiness.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, Operations, Security, and Release Management teams to identify risks and support successful production deployments.
• Contribute to quality metrics, release reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance delivery effectiveness.
