Job description
What is the opportunity?

We are looking for Senior Quality Engineer, SDET (Software Developer Engineer in Test). You will be working with Developers, Testers, and Business teams, to design and implement solutions for testing business applications leveraging different tools/technology. Applying your background in development and test automation, you will provide coaching and mentoring in development, maintenance, and execution of test automation.

What will you do?
  • Lead Test Automation effort across teams/projects and mentor/coach other technical resources
  • Implement/maintain Automation of API’s, Mobile, Web, and Desktop applications.
  • Recommend/contribute to test strategy & technical solutions in area of expertise, including leading QE work on squads as needed.
  • Active participant in different agile ceremonies like planning, grooming, stand-up, demo, and retrospective meetings/sessions
  • Develop and execute test plans for ecosystem/program/large projects.
  • Lead/Coordinate Testing (Integration, E2E, etc.) and provide stakeholder communication and reporting.
  • Drive quality and champion defect prevention/early defect detection
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years of proven experience in test design, development, execution & reporting, including automated testing.
  • Hands‑on programming experience (Java, Java Script, Python)
  • Hands‑on experience with webservices/APIs
  • Hands‑on experience with SQL queries, or Data testing
  • Hands‑on experience implementing automation Strategies & Framework (Selenium, Cypress, SOAPUI/ReadyAPI, etc.)
  • Experience working in Agile Methodology
Nice to have
  • Experience in testing insurance applications and systems
  • Experience with Service Virtualization
  • Test Management and Defect Tracking tool experience on qTest, JIRA
  • Performance testing background
  • Experience testing/working with Salesforce (Salesforce Financial or Experience cloud)
