  • Strong analytical, collaborative, and communication skills to engage effectively with Content Producers and Software Engineers in a fast-paced, live-service environment.
  • Experience using data to engineer informed testing solutions and prioritize daily workflows in collaboration with leadership.
  • Ability to build strategic cross-functional relationships and develop test plans that incorporate alternative validation methods (data, telemetry, and automation).
  • A future-state mindset with a proven ability to assess current workflows and present innovative growth ideas, specifically leveraging advanced technology like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for quality verification.
  • Active contribution to the Quality Designer (QD) community goals by owning initiatives, delivering outputs, and proactively engaging peers for feedback.

  • Designing and executing advanced manual and automated test suites that provide extensive coverage across your areas of responsibility.
  • Interpreting product-level data and adapting existing metrics or KPIs to continuously raise quality requirements.
  • Building advanced, accurate reports leveraging multiple data sources to deliver targeted insights to project stakeholders.
  • Drive project-wide strategy and operational improvements by evaluating existing tactics, quality risks, and opportunities to enhance team operations.
  • Taking a data-driven approach to test prioritization, basing decisions on live patterns, telemetry, and unique product factors.
  • Researching and implementing innovative test designs and methodologies, working beyond team boundaries to apply advanced technologies (including AI and Machine Learning) to testing workflows.
  • Executing specialized validations for highly complex features and managing scalable test execution across large franchise projects.
  • Championing the adoption of new automation frameworks, ensuring they meet the team's needs and are actively utilized.

Your Responsibilities

Pay Transparency - North America
Compensation And Benefits
  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$92,900 - $129,200 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and other incentive programs.
