Job summary

Profile Products LLC in the Niagara Region (St. Catharines) is seeking a Quality Control Technician to help ensure quality in a manufacturing environment.

You will perform audits of finished and in-process goods, conduct inspections, and support process improvements across production lines. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of relevant experience (preferred), and proficiency with Outlook and Excel.

  • Microsoft Outlook and Excel proficiency required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily audits of finished and in-process goods to verify plug quality.
  • Perform a full range of varied inspection tasks including visual and touch point inspection.
  • Perform first/middle/last quality checks on all production products.
  • Standardize and continuously improve through investigation and analysis with the end user/internal customer.
  • Support process simulation/bottleneck analysis for productivity/quality improvements.
  • Provide expertise and solutions for process capability improvements.
  • Maintain documents and records according to departmental requirements.
  • Follows all Company safety policies and procedures.
  • Follows Food Safety and GMPS’s as directed by Management.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Salary Range: CA$19.00 To CA$21.00 Hourly

The Quality Control Technician (QCT) must be detail-oriented, maintain high quality standards, and be comfortable performing physical work in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work effectively within a team, take pride in the quality of their work, and follow established procedures and instructions.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform daily audits of finished and in-process goods to verify plug quality.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience (preferred).
  • Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with teammates and visitors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Physical Demands:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

  • Manufacturing environment
    • Work environment temperatures may vary from hot and humid to cold depending on weather conditions and work location.
  • Must be able to adapt to the noise level of a manufacturing setting, which is usually moderate to heavy.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer, phone, printer/scanner, and filing cabinets.
