Overview

Cryopak is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our Quality Assurance team. Reporting to the Director of Quality / Plant Manager, you will be responsible for quality control, health and safety, item and BOM creation, and production reporting. You will work closely with the Plant Manager, Lead Hands, and production staff to maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect raw materials, in-process, and finished products according to standards.
  • Document and report nonconforming materials, processes, and products; analyze issues and recommend solutions.
  • Investigate customer complaints and provide corrective / preventive actions.
  • Check product artwork for compliance with specifications.
  • Monitor calibration of measuring tools and equipment.
  • Participate in quality audits and respond to compliance reports.
  • Prepare and update quality system documentation and production run sheets.
  • Maintain artwork files, raw material SDS, and supplier certificates.
  • Create and implement lot code and case code files for new items.
  • Check daily production run sheets and report production in the Globe database.
  • Assign item numbers and create / adjust BOMs for new materials / products.
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings and generate safety reports.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and audits.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and internal software programs.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
  • Strong time management and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Client and quality-oriented.
  • Ability to lift, bend / twist at the waist, and sit for long periods.
