Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a detail-oriented QC Technician to support quality control processes and help ensure products consistently meet established standards, specifications, and customer expectations at our Winnipeg, Manitoba operations.

You will perform sampling, testing, data recording, and collaborate with operations to drive continuous improvement, while adhering to safety, environmental, and company quality policies.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality control principles, testing procedures, and data collection practices.
  • Ability to interpret specifications, procedures, and test results with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency using computer systems and software for documentation, reporting, and analysis.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Tech to support quality control processes and help ensure products consistently meet established standards, specifications, and customer expectations.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Perform sampling, testing, and inspection activities in accordance with quality control procedures.
  • Monitor product quality and production processes to identify and address variances.
  • Record, analyze, and maintain accurate quality control data and testing results.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company quality standards.
What Are We Looking For

Conditions of Employment
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
