Job summary

Eurofins ExperNorth, Inc is seeking a Quality Control & Release Specialist to join our Canada laboratory in Woodbridge, ON. The role focuses on ensuring data integrity, issuing certificates of analysis, and supporting change controls for lab equipment and methods.

Ideal candidates have a Chemistry degree and hands-on QC experience in ISO/GMP settings, with proficiency in HPLC, LC/MS-MS, GC/MS-MS and MS Office. The position offers full-time hours and a strong benefits package in Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related Science.
• Minimum 1 year working in an ISO/GMP regulated environment — Preferred.
• Minimum 1 year working in Quality Assurance or Quality Control—Preferred.
• Extensive relevant Quality Control experience.
• Good understanding of GMP and ISO 17025 guidelines.
• Competency in operation, calibration, and qualification of common analytical instrumentation (HPLC, LC/MS-MS, GC/MS-MS).
• Computer literate; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Review daily laboratory raw data, ensuring personnel execute responsibilities in strict accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Issuance of Certificate of Analysis.
• Generating Change controls for new laboratory equipment, methods, protocols etc.
• Contributing to continual improvement of laboratory documentation to ensure they are current and clearly define process and role responsibilities.
• Reviewing investigation documents such as LIR, OOS, OOT, OOE etc.
• Follow GMP, safety, housekeeping, and security procedures in the laboratory, maintaining a safe working environment and reporting incidents to site leadership.
• Seeking process innovation and continuous improvement in the laboratory area.
• Providing timely status reports to laboratory management/QA on installation, qualification, calibration, and maintenance programs.
• Completing and conforming to all training requirements for the job role.

• Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Woodbridge, ON, before starting work
• Does NOT require sponsorship to work in Canada
• Minimum 1 year working in an ISO/GMP regulated environment — Preferred.
• Minimum 1 year working in Quality Assurance or Quality Control—Preferred.

Years of Service:

• Quality Assurance Specialist: 1-3 years of Eurofins ExperNorth experience in role
• Sr. Quality Assurance Specialist: 3-5 years of Eurofins ExperNorth experience in role
