About the Role

Our client, a key supplier of automotive components, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join their production team in Kimberley, Northern Cape . This role is essential for ensuring that all manufactured parts meet stringent quality standards and specifications before they are shipped to customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various inspections, testing procedures, and identifying any defects or non-conformities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify part dimensions against specifications.
• Perform functional tests on components and assemblies as required.
• Identify, document, and report any non-conforming products or process deviations.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure traceability of parts.
• Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the inspection area in Kimberley.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in quality control is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality Control or Inspection role, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
• Proficiency in using various measuring and testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good observational skills and ability to identify defects.
