Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Quality Control in Piping and/or Mechanical (Pressure Vessels/Exchangers/Furnaces/Boilers)
• Possess QAQC specific certifications, such as CWB W178.2 Level 2
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: CSTS-2020
• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• Must have own reliable transportation to site.
• This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on piping, mechanical, and pressure equipment installations and repairs.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, client requirements, industry codes, and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, furnaces, boilers, and related mechanical equipment.
• Review and verify inspection and test plans (ITPs), procedures, and quality documentation.
• Monitor welding activities and ensure compliance with applicable welding standards and procedures.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
• Identify, document, and communicate non-conformances and support corrective actions.
• Work collaboratively with project supervisors, trades personnel, and client representatives to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture while performing all inspection activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all work activities meet project specifications, applicable codes and standards, and ClearWater's quality requirements while supporting a safe and productive work environment.

Project Details

• Location: Medicine Hat, AB
• Project Duration: 2 Months (Turnaround)
• Start Date: September 7, 2026
• Schedule: 6 Days In / 1 Day Out
• Hours: 12-hour shifts
• Living Out Allowance (LOA): $170 per day
• Travel Pay: $300 to site and $300 from site

Key Responsibilities
