Job summary

A leading engineering services company in Cambridge is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform various inspections, including dimensional and visual welding inspections. Candidates should have quality control experience and CWB Level 2 certification. This fully onsite role offers a competitive pay range of $48.00 - $55.00 per hour and a work schedule that includes Monday to Friday with potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience in nuclear quality inspection at Bruce Power or Ontario Power Generation.
• CWB Level 3 certification is a plus.
• Experience with feeder or fuel channel inspection.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual welding inspections.

• Complete all necessary documentation for inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspection, visual welding inspection, and visual weld examination.
• Verify materials and conduct receiving inspections.
• Review Material Test Reports as required.
• Perform weld monitoring as needed.
• Complete all documentation and forms for individual inspections.
• Write and track non-conformance reports.
• Support quality control activities associated with project requirements.

Essential Skills

• Experience in quality control and inspection.
• CWB Level 2 certification.
• Familiarity with Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
• Security clearance at OPG or Bruce Power.
• Ability to work both day and night shifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• CWB Level 3 certification.
• Experience in nuclear quality inspection at Bruce Power or Ontario Power Generation.
• Experience in ITP writing.
• Experience with feeder or fuel channel inspection.

Work Environment

Work schedule is currently Monday to Friday with potential weekend work

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.00 / hr.
