Agilus is recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector in the Manufacturing industry in Calgary, Alberta. A leading Calgary-based manufacturer of heat transfer and oil & gas products is seeking an Intermediate Quality Control Inspector. This role offers hands‑on inspection work, collaboration with production and external inspectors, and travel opportunities to field sites and subcontractor facilities. Ideal for certified welding inspectors looking to grow within a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections and tests across assigned disciplines
  • Coordinate and audit radiography and other NDE subcontractors
  • Inspect weld quality and monitor welder processes and variables
  • Prepare inspection and test reports; maintain QA/QC documentation
  • Communicate with production, project teams, and external inspectors
  • Track non‑conformance and improvement reports
  • Inspect incoming materials and verify material test reports (MTRs)
  • Interpret construction codes, standards, and fabrication drawings
Requirements
  • CSA Level 1 Welding Inspector certification (Level 2 or 3 preferred)
  • NDE certifications (MT, PT, UT, RT) under CGSB or SNT‑TC‑1A
  • Knowledge of ASME Sections IX, V, VIII, I, B31.1 and/or B31.3
  • Welding Examiner Certificate for Alberta (preferred)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic drafting software
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed
