Quality Control Engineer

JN MANUFACTURING is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team in Brampton, ON. The candidate will be responsible for the development of quality assurance programs and procedures, and maintain them throughout the life cycle of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform PPAP's as per the customer requirements.
  • Perform customer self-assessments and handle 8D customer complaints.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate quality assurance programs and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance staff, develop and update quality assurance plans, and ensure that all processes are in compliance with applicable standards.
  • Perform internal audits to ensure that products meet customer requirements and external audits to ensure that products are compliant with applicable standards.
  • Provide support to the engineering department in order to ensure that product quality is maintained at the required level of quality assurance.
  • Participate in internal meetings to discuss issues or problems related to product quality, such as product defects, customer complaints, or supplier performance issues.
  • Participate in external meetings with customers or other stakeholders to discuss product quality requirements or issues.
  • Provide technical support as needed within the engineering department.
  • Assist with training of new employees and employees who have recently joined the company.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, manufacturing, or production. They should be familiar with ISO 9001:2015 standards and software such as Microsoft Excel and SAP. 2 years of experience in the related field is recommended, and on-the-job training will be provided by the employer.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time.
  • Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour.
  • Experience: 2 years in the automotive field (required).
  • Work Location: In person, Brampton, ON.
