• Verify product specs and packaging.
• Monitor packaging materials and product identification.
• Verify CCPs (carcass temps, pre-shipment review).
• Ensure sanitation during operations and complete related paperwork on time.

What You Bring To The Role

• Food safety, food science or microbiology training, or previous experience QA

Responsibilities

• Monitoring of GMPs on production floors, storage, and welfare areas
• Monitoring of raw materials and finished products (i.e. ground, boneless, and bone-in products)
• Management and assessment of returns, damages, and products to be reworked
• Monitoring of new product specs and packaging
• Monitoring of packaging materials
• Monitoring of product identification
• Verification and Monitoring of CCPs (carcass temps, and pre-shipment review)
• Verification of sanitation on the production floors storage and welfare areas
• Conducts pre-operational inspections
• Monitoring of carcass, product, and room temperatures
• Monitoring of equipment that is temperature sensitive (shrink and CO2 tunnels)
• Monitoring of shipping docks and trailers
• Monitoring of metal detectors and X-ray machines
• Monitoring of denaturing areas
• Monitoring of receiving of supplies
• Monitor sanitizer temperatures
• Complete HACCP, SQF, and quality-related paperwork on time and accurately (paperless documents and paper documents)
• Participate in meetings/ training of employees
• Work with PC Foreman to ensure food safety, Gluten-Free, and quality standards, as well as expectations are always met.
• Report to QA Manager and PC QA Coordinator on daily findings
• Other duties as assigned by the QA Manager and QA Coordinators.
