Job description

This position is part of our continuous improvement initiative for software quality, with the aim of industrializing and automating the Orchestrade application. This application is used by the Front Office, Middle Office, and Risk Management for booking, the Middle and Back Office, and for risk calculation.

Following the implementation of new scopes and projects, the QA team needs to expand to continue improving the quality of our scope, processes, and tools.

Mission

The quality of our production deliveries is a crucial point and a daily concern.

The team is positioned at the center of the process, at the crossroads of the BA / DEV / Archi (Business Analyst / Developer / Architect) teams and also the FO / MO / Risk (Front Office / Middle Office / Risk) users.

A significant part of our work is not directly related to QA but revolves around communication between the Orchestrade teams, the IT contributors from other applications, and our users to move forward and validate current releases and non-regression tests.

A second part of our work is to design and implement improvements to our test framework and tools.

Our scope of intervention is very broad, and we have an excellent working atmosphere. This mission is a real challenge with a large number of different tasks, and the only limit will be the one the consultant sets for themselves.

In partnership with the Software Quality Manager, the service will have the following objectives:

  • Execution and monitoring of test campaigns
  • Improvement of non-regression on the overnight batch chain
  • Improvement of test report processing
  • Continuous improvement of test processes
  • Improvement of the test scope and automation
  • Establishment and maintenance of the test repository (using MicroSoft Azure / TFS tool)
  • Drafting specifications for test automation tools (UI C# devexpress, xml, sql flows)
  • Analysis and monitoring of the results of each test campaign
  • Reporting required for the Go/NoGo decision for each release (defect classification and impact measurement)
  • Communication with Delivery teams / FO / MO / Risk users, IT contributors and Product Owner.
Requirements
  • Functional knowledge of vanilla, optional, and exotic rate products
  • Good QA knowledge and familiarity with market QA tools for industrializing tests (UI, flows, sql, batch, service).
  • Mandatory experience on a trading application, Knowledge of Orchestrade would be a plus.
  • English is essential for reporting or communicating with teams.
  • Contract duration: 12 months, renewable
  • Desired start date: December (negotiable)
  • Language: English mandatory, French is a plus.
