Job summary

TalentWorld is recruiting a Quality Assurance Inspector in Puslinch, Ontario for one of its valued partners. You will perform hands-on inspections and testing of precast concrete products throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring products meet engineering specifications, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality standards, and customer requirements. This full-time role offers day/afternoon shifts and a salary range tailored to Ontario.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent technical education.
• ACI Grade 1 Field Testing Technician certification or equivalent is an asset.
• Familiarity with CSA, ASTM, OPSS concrete standards is an asset.
• Experience inspecting precast concrete and construction materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of precast concrete products in accordance with engineering specifications and ITPs.
• Conduct fresh/plastic concrete testing and support laboratory testing activities.
• Inspect reinforcement, formwork, dimensions, and other product requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Complete inspection reports, test results, and other required quality documentation.
• Identify, document, and report nonconforming products or processes.
• Communicate quality concerns and inspection findings with production teams, supervisors, and other internal stakeholders.
• Ensure inspection and testing equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and controlled.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment within the manufacturing facility and outdoor yard.
