Quality Assurance Engineer (SQE / Laboratory / Compliance)

• Working hours: Mon to Fri / 8.30am - 5.30PM

Responsibilities
Supplier Quality (SQE)
- Ensure supplier quality programs meet customer and internal requirements
- Liaise with suppliers and CQE on quality reports and issues
- Maintain and publish supplier quality data for regular review
- Handle supplier quality discrepancies, improvement actions, and incoming SPC
- Manage return‑to‑vendor (RTV) issues and claims with Purchasing
- Drive Cost‑of‑Poor‑Quality (COPQ) improvements with Supply Chain team
- Lead supplier quality audits
Incoming Quality Control (IQC)
- Define inspection criteria to ensure supplier process capability
- Arrange incoming material sampling and inspection per customer requirements
- Review Certificate of Analysis (CofA) and Certificate of Conformance (CofC) for incoming materials
Laboratory / Compliance
- Coordinate with internal/external labs and suppliers to meet regulatory and cleanliness requirements
- Prepare RoHS, Halogen, REACH, CMRT, Prop65 compliance submissions
- Develop and maintain in‑house laboratory facilities and equipment
- Oversee calibration of test and measuring equipment
- Analyze test data and issue reports
- Manage product cleanliness projects and reporting
Others
- Support CQE in evaluation/failure analysis
- Handle project management or ad‑hoc assignments
- Ensure compliance with QMS, EHS and L&E procedures
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Materials Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent technical discipline.
- Knowledge of analytical tools such as GCMS, FTIR, IC, SEM/EDX, Microscope, Tensile/Abrasion Test
- Good understanding of SPC tools and Minitab
