Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Quality Control Specialist for the printing/manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will manage supplier quality programs, conduct quality inspections, and ensure compliance with regulations. Required qualifications include a diploma in Engineering or Science and experience in mechanical and chemical testing. The role offers a competitive salary up to $4500, with transport provided to the location in Woodland.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Analyse test data and issue relevant reports.
  • Assist in failure analysis and internal audits.

MNC - Printing /Manufacturing Industry

Basic Salary : UP TO $4500 (Depends on experience ) +VB (Average 2-3 months)

Working Location: Woodland - Transport Provided

Experience with mechanical and chemical testing is a plus

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage supplier quality programs, resolve quality discrepancies, and drive improvements with vendors
  • Conduct incoming quality control (IQC) and inspection processes; review CoA/CoC and ensure compliance with customer specs
  • Coordinate with external/internal labs and suppliers to ensure regulatory compliance (e.g. RoHS, REACH, Halogen, Prop65)
  • Support and maintain in-house lab equipment, test regimes, and calibration schedules
  • Analyse test data and issue reports (e.g. GCMS, FTIR, SEM/EDX, Tensile, Abrasion)
  • Assist in failure analysis, internal audits, and drive cost-of-poor-quality (COPQ) initiatives
Requirements
  • Diploma in Engineering, Science, or related field
  • Experience with mechanical and chemical testing /reports (e.g. GCMS, FTIR, IC, SEM/EDX, Microscope, Tensile/Abrasion tests).
  • Knowledge of supplier quality processes, SPC tools, and quality systems
