Job summary

A leading aerospace and defense company in Ontario is seeking a QA Analyst to ensure quality assurance in production processes. Responsibilities include analyzing data, supporting inspections, and liaising with clients on quality matters. The ideal candidate will have a College Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of AS9100 and various software tools is essential. This role promotes a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a technical capacity.
  • Experience in process quality control and product testing.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of the Electro-Mechanical assembly processes.

Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze quality performance data.
  • Develop graphs, charts and quality reports.
  • Coordinate with Production, Program Management and Engineering for product failure analysis.
  • Liaise with customers and Customer Service on quality matters.
  • Support inspection tests in production and customer service.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Working knowledge of AS9100 standard
Basic understanding of statistical analysis and reporting
Experience in process quality control and product testing
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Continuous improvement disciplines
Product-related software functionality
Basic knowledge of Electro-Mechanical assembly processes

Education

College Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical with Quality Assurance training
CQE or CQT preferred
ISO9001/AS9100 working knowledge

Tools

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Graphing, Access)
MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
ERP LN (Enterprise Resource Planning)
