ISAAC is expanding its internal team and seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst for Application Maintenance. The role supports the technical support team, analyzes complex customer requests, and applies testing methods to ensure quality standards.

You will collaborate with QA and development teams to improve processes, while upholding ISAAC’s values and contributing to a positive work environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering, or related study with experience.
• 3–5 years in quality assurance or customer support at a software/high-tech company.
• Strong programming knowledge (C#, Angular) and Windows environment; SQL Server experience.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate incidents via functional and code analysis for mobile, web, and back-end.
• Support incident management with the technical support team to improve resolution rate.
• Analyze bugs, identify causes, and prioritize fixes.
• Develop, improve and run tests, and build validation tools.
• Document test plans and update test cases to reflect fixes and features.
• Install, configure and test new software versions and upgrades.
• Document defects clearly to speed resolution and improve QA processes.

As a Quality Assurance Analyst – Application Maintenance, you support the technical support team in analyzing and handling complex customer requests. You help implement and apply testing methods to make sure we meet our quality standards, and you analyze change requests. Responsibilities

• Investigate incidents through functional and code analysis to suggest solutions to the development teams (mobile, web, back-end)
• Support the technical support team as a go-to resource for incident management, to improve the resolution rate
• Analyze bugs, identify their causes and prioritize them
• Develop, improve and run tests, and build validation tools
• Document test plans and update test cases to reflect fixes and new features
• Install, configure and test new versions of the software platform and upgrades
• Resolve issues with the tests and tools we develop
• Document defects clearly (description, steps to reproduce, environment, etc.) to speed up resolution
• Analyze how our software is used to make recommendations for improvement and innovation
• Identify and fix system performance issues
• Gather and assess feedback on testing and quality assurance processes to identify areas for improvement
• Work closely with the quality assurance and development teams to review test cases, assess possible solutions and analyze the various change requests
• Align your actions with ISAAC’s mission and strategic objectives, showing care and authenticity toward colleagues and customers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering, or other training combined with relevant experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience in quality assurance or customer support at a software development or high-tech company, or other relevant experience
• Good knowledge of programming (e.g., C#, Angular or another programming language) and of the Windows environment
• Knowledge of SQL Server
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English
• Assets: experience with Azure DevOps, good knowledge of scripting tools (e.g., Windows PowerShell), knowledge of the .NET platform and the C# language, knowledge of Agile methodology
