Job summary

A national health solutions partner is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester in Canada. In this role, you'll collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure high-quality software deliverables. Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Tester, you'll collaborate closely with software developers, business analysts, and the test lead to ensure high‑quality deliverables. You will analyze requirements, design and execute manual test cases, document findings, and track issues through resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and clarify requirements with stakeholders
  • Estimate manual testing effort
  • Design and review test scenarios; revise based on feedback
  • Assess product risk and prioritize test cases
  • Define smoke tests for each build and plan regression suites
  • Identify candidates for test automation
  • Prepare detailed test steps and data requirements
  • Execute smoke and system tests; record and communicate results
  • Log descriptive defects and validate fixes
  • Collaborate with the Test Lead and project team throughout the process
Required Qualifications:
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing across web, desktop, and mobile applications
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies
  • Familiarity with ALM tools and JIRA
  • Understanding of QA methods: unit, integration, regression testing
Language Skills:

English, written and spoken. French would be considered an asset.

Security Clearance Requirement:

In conjunction with our contract with the Federal Government, you will be required to have Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B). This includes Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, Credit Check and you must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status.
