Job summary

CoFoMo Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst in Montreal to lead testing across multiple mandates. You will design test strategies, write comprehensive test plans, and develop test datasets while ensuring traceability and high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities include reviewing driver scenarios, executing test cases, documenting anomalies, and guiding best practices for the system driver team. Strong Azure DevOps knowledge and a formal QA certification are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Hold an undergraduate degree in computer science, information systems, software development or an equivalent field.
• Have at least eight (8) years of experience as a quality assurance analyst in IT.
• Participate in at least two mandates of 1,000 person-days each with a minimum 220 person-days per mandate.
• Plan and develop testing strategies across functional, regression, performance, stress, load and security.
• Produce QA deliverables: quality plans, test plans, test strategies, tracking reports and QA metrics.
• Design test datasets and learn acceptance testing with Azure DevOps tools.

Job description

Here is a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities:

• Review system driver scenarios and test cases
• Write test plans

• Perform exploratory and non-regression tests
• Give support to the system driver team
• Guide system drivers to best practices
• Participate in the optimization of work processes
• Update quality assurance documentation

The profile we are looking for is as follows:

• Hold an undergraduate degree (bachelor's degree) in computer science, information systems, software development or an equivalent field
• Have at least eight (8) years of experience as a quality assurance analyst in the field of information technology
• Participate, as a quality assurance analyst, in at least two (2) mandates of a minimum of 1,000 person-days each, including a contribution of at least 220 person-days per mandate
• Carry out, within the framework of a mandate of at least 220 person-days as a quality assurance analyst, the planning and development of testing strategies at all levels (functional, regression, performance, stress, load and security)
• Produce key QA deliverables, including quality plans, test plans, test strategies, tracking reports, and QA metrics
• Design test datasets
• Learn about acceptance testing and the Azure DevOps tool. Develop test cases
• Be proficient in, or have relevant training on, TFS, Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS), and Azure DevOps tools (Udemy training may be offered)
• Hold a quality assurance certification (asset)
• Hands-on experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) (asset)
• Proficiency in functional test automation tools or practices (asset)
• Carry out a mandate of a minimum of twelve (12) months within a governmental or paragovernmental organization (asset)
