Job summary

BlackBerry's QNX division in Ottawa seeks a Senior Technical Product Manager to own end-to-end lifecycle of multi-component industrial solutions, from strategic planning through delivery. You will work with engineering and ecosystem partners to accelerate time-to-market for new verticals and shape the roadmap for embedded systems across robotics and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical degree.
• Significant product management experience in industrial automation, robotics, IoT, or embedded systems.
• Strong cross-functional knowledge spanning engineering, product strategy, finance, and marketing.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a track record of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with ecosystem partnerships or build vs. buy decisions.
• Familiarity with industrial connectivity standards (OPC UA, Modbus, PROFINET).
• Knowledge and understanding the importance of regulatory compliance in embedded space (e.g. IEC 61508 and/or IEC 62443).
