Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in Toronto is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician responsible for ensuring food safety and product quality. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in quality control and be capable of performing microbiological testing and product assessments. Strong teamwork and communication skills are required, along with a focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail. This position offers a shift from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quality control in a food manufacturing facility.
• Experience in a HACCP or BRC certified facility is an asset.
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic microbiological and chemical testing on site.
• Conduct product quality assessments using moisture and pH meters.
• Manage QA documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in the food safety program audits and follow-ups.
