Job summary

Pacific Programming & Tech Inc. in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking an experienced QA Specialist focused on manual and automated testing for our Quality Assurance team. You will implement test plans, run suites, and collaborate with developers to ensure product quality.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Playwright, designs test cases, and thrives in a CI/CD and Agile environment. We value a process-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Quality Assurance role.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Playwright.
• Experience in CI/CD and Agile environments.
• Experience with API testing and SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Implementation of test plans, test cases and documentation, completion of operating instructions for product testing at an enterprise level.
• Ensure functionality meets requirements.
• Identify and write up bugs using clear reproduction steps.
• Run test suites against new functionality.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure overall product quality and reliability.
• Work closely with the development team.
• Support our products against reported problems in an appropriate way.
• Escalate issues to team leads

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience working with Azure DevOps and Playwright.
• Experience designing and writing test cases.
• 3+ years in a Quality Assurance role is ideal.
• Experience working in a continuous integration and development environment.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Process orientated mindset

Good to Have

• Experience working with API tests.
• Database/SQL knowledge.
• Experience in code/scripting language such as Python, Javascript
• Experience with systems that process large data
