Job summary

A leading tech company in Montreal is seeking a QA Developer Engineer (SDET) to design and implement automation for testing environments. You will work closely with various teams in a hybrid mode after the initial onboarding period. Ideal candidates should have 6 to 9 years of experience, strong skills in automated testing and DevOps, and a basic understanding of financial products.

Qualifications

• 6 to 9 years of overall experience required.
• Worked in an Agile methodology environment.
• Experience with ITIL processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design automation and extension of test scenarios (TNR / Integration).
• Implement improved monitoring and alerting.
• Analyze and resolve anomalies during test execution.
• Automate CI / CD workflows.
• Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams.

Skills

Automated testing tools and languages

Knowledge of one or more programming languages (C# Java Python Angular)

Good knowledge of scripting (ksh VBA power shell perl)

Experience in DevOps (GitOps / Docker / Kubernetes)

Jenkins / Git / Gitlab (CI / CD)

Description and Location

Location : Montreal and should work for 5 days a week from office for first 3 months and after wards in HYBRID mode based on client agreement

Start date : 24-Sep-2025

Skill Requirements
