Job summary

A leading technology company in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking a QA Analyst to ensure product quality through rigorous testing and analysis. The ideal candidate has a College Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical with at least 3 years of experience in a technical capacity, and strong skills in quality assurance processes. Responsibilities include compiling quality performance data, and coordinating customer service quality matters. This position offers professional growth in an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a technical capacity.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze quality performance data.
  • Develop graphs, charts and quality reports.
  • Coordinate with Production, Program Management and Engineering.
  • Liaise with customers on quality matters.
  • Support incoming, in-process and final inspection tests.
  • Conduct internal spot audits.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Working knowledge of AS9100 standard
Basic understanding of statistical analysis and reporting
Experience in process quality control and product testing
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Graphing, Access)
Continuous improvement disciplines (Fishbone, Kaizen, Lean, 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis)
Product-related software functionality
Basic knowledge and understanding of the Electro-Mechanical assembly processes

Education

College Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical with Quality Assurance training
ISO9001/AS9100 working knowledge
CQE or CQT is preferred

MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
ERP LN (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
