Job summary

Citi in Mississauga, Canada is seeking an experienced Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst to lead application systems analysis and programming activities. You will partner with management to drive product enhancements and ensure architectural alignment.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in apps development, full-stack skills in Python/Java, and experience with Spring Boot, Flask, React, and cloud-native architectures, including Gen AI integrations.

Qualifications

• Experience in full stack application development with strong expertise in Python and Java
• Deep experience with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot / Spring Core and Flask / FastAPI
• Solid frontend experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
• Experience designing and delivering scalable, cloud native applications
• Exposure to Gen AI concepts including: Large Language Models (LLMs) and transformer based systems; Prompt engineering and basic agent workflows; Vector search and retrieval concepts
• Familiarity with Gen AI frameworks/tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, MLflow, or workflow orchestration tools (e.g., n8n) (hands on experience preferred, but deep ML expertise not mandatory)
• Experience integrating Gen AI APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.) into production applications
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. • Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
