Job summary

NAM Info Inc. is seeking a Python backend engineer for our Mississauga location in Canada. The role operates in a hybrid model with 2-3 days on-site per week, focusing on building robust backend services, APIs, and distributed systems. Strong Python and OOP fundamentals, plus experience with modern DevOps tooling, are required.

The successful candidate will work with relational databases, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), leveraging Docker and Kubernetes in a CI/CD workflow.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on development experience with Python.
• Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, exceptions, decorators, and generators.
• Experience developing backend applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Strong SQL and relational-database knowledge.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket, PyTest/unittest, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Jenkins, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
