Qualifications

  • Experience working with Excel datasets including reading, modifying, and updating Excel sheets programmatically.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Python scripts to process directories of cropped .jpg images containing asset identifiers.
  • Generate tabular reports in .csv format for reconciliation and audit purposes.
  • Automate the end-to-end process, including image ingestion, OCR, validation, and reporting.
  • Ensure scalability and reliability of the solution for deployment in production environments.

Your future duties and responsibilities :
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts to process directories of cropped .jpg images containing asset identifiers.
  • Generate tabular reports in .csv format for reconciliation and audit purposes.
  • Automate the end-to-end process, including image ingestion, OCR, validation, and reporting.
  • Integrate output with reporting platforms such as Power BI for visualization and stakeholder insights.
  • Collaborate with operations and asset management teams to validate real-world asset changes.
  • Ensure scalability and reliability of the solution for deployment in production environments.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role :
  • 7+ years of experience with Python 3.x, OCR, scripting development, code repositories, and data analysis.
  • Experience writing code, loading / installing Python modules, and using code repositories.
  • Managing and / or working with Python virtual environments.
  • Experience working with Excel datasets, including reading, modifying, and updating Excel sheets programmatically.
Desired Skillset (Nice to Have)
  • Experience and / or exposure to Data Science
  • Experience in the financial industry
