Join PwC Private’s Tax practice and be the trusted advisor behind the success of entrepreneurs, family enterprises, and dynamic private companies. You’ll help clients turn complex tax challenges into clear strategies—managing risk, optimizing obligations, and charting a path to long-term success in a rapidly changing global landscape. In this role, you’ll serve as both strategic consultant and hands‑on tax expert: advising local tax affairs, reviewing personal, trust and corporate income tax returns, and overseeing other key tax reporting forms. You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, work across diverse industries, and deliver insights that drive confident decisions and sustainable growth. Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a PwC Private Tax Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business transactions, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations
  • Manage, develop, retain and mentor junior tax professionals
  • Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail
  • Proactively anticipate stakeholder needs and develop and discuss potential solutions
  • Contribute technical knowledge in specialism
  • Contribute to an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart
  • Navigate the complexities of diverse teams and engagements
  • Initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders to build trust
  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
  • Demonstrated experience working in tax consulting which includes tax compliance, provisions and reorganizations for private clients and family offices
  • Experience working in an accounting firm (Small, Mid-Size or Major firms)
  • Bachelor’s degree with major in accounting and a qualified Canadian CPA designation
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple assignments in an organized manner
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
