You'll experience the full business cycle of private entities, from inception to maturity and transition. Our team develops tailored service plans for privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals, focusing on issues like wealth management, compliance, cash flow, equity expansion, divestiture, and exit strategies.

PwC Private teams support entrepreneurs, private business owners, and family enterprises at every growth stage, adapting to today’s global landscape. Our High Net Worth (HNW) practice specifically helps HNW individuals and prominent Canadian families with tax and advisory needs, including cross-border issues involving U.S. and Canadian assets and estate planning.

As a PwC Private Cross Border Tax Senior Manager, you’ll collaborate with problem-solving teams to deliver high-quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing complex cross-border engagements and diverse teams.
  • Designing and implementing personalized service plans for private entities, entrepreneurs, and HNW individuals.
  • Focusing on wealth management, compliance, equity, divestitures, exit strategies, and intergenerational wealth transfers.
  • Engaging in coaching conversations across all levels.
  • Balancing big-picture thinking with attention to detail.
  • Developing expertise in Canadian and U.S. tax regulations.
  • Fostering an environment where people and technology thrive together.
  • Encouraging team participation and stakeholder trust through open communication.

Experience and skills you'll use to solve
  • A Master’s degree in Tax, Canadian CPA, Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation, or pursuing these credentials.
  • Experience in public accounting or law firms handling complex cross-border tax planning for high-net-worth clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, business sense, and a reputation for client service excellence.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
  • Business development skills and enthusiasm for practice growth.
  • Leadership in mentoring junior professionals and fostering collaboration.

  • Fluency in English and French, supporting diverse client and stakeholder interactions.
