Job summary

Airbus Atlantique Canada Inc. in Mirabel seeks a Purchasing Coordinator to drive speedshop purchases for multiple commodities at the aircraft level. You will maintain relations with North American suppliers and liaise with the France-based headquarters purchasing team.

The role requires a DEC in logistics or related field and at least 3 years’ experience in an industrial setting, ideally aeronautics, with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Hold a DEC in logistics and supply chain, administration, or the equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role in an industrial environment, ideally in the aeronautical sector.
• Demonstrate a developed analytical mind, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and negotiate calls for tender with selected qualified suppliers.
• Drive and monitor existing contracts with suppliers and internal partners.
• Act as a key intermediary with suppliers, the program, and group buyers.
• Record financial impacts and billing disputes.
• Drive NPI (New Part Introduction) projects.
• Monitor and complete key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Keep the supplier panel up to date to remain compliant during audits.
• Participate in strategic meetings to anticipate risks and propose action plans.
• All other related tasks associated with the position.

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Purchasing Supervisor, the Purchasing Coordinator will have the primary responsibility of driving speedshop purchases for several commodities at the aircraft level. They are also responsible for maintaining good relations with various North American suppliers and being in constant communication with the supply chain and headquarters purchasing located in France.

Your challenges:

• Manage and negotiate calls for tender only to selected qualified suppliers;
• Drive and ensure the monitoring of existing contracts with suppliers and internal partners;
• Act as a key intermediary with suppliers, the program, and group buyers;
• Record financial impacts and billing disputes;
