Job summary

HMFT Inc. is seeking a dedicated Service Technician (Millwright) for our Edmonton branch. You will repair and align pumps and motors, perform rigging and testing, and travel to client sites to support installation and commissioning.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial mechanics, with pumps and motors experience, and a commitment to safety. A clean driving record and ability to lift 50 lbs are required; overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of industrial mechanical experience, including at least 1 year with pumps and motors.
Clean driving record with valid driver’s license for operating a company vehicle.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
Valid passport for travel to the USA for training.
Commitment to safety in the shop and customer sites.
Willingness to work overtime when needed for repairs.
Forklift license, H2S Alive, and/or first aid certification would be assets but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Repairs or replacements of mechanical components & machinery.
Alignment of pumps and motors.
Rigging and slinging.
Troubleshooting mechanical machinery.
Travel to customer sites to assess issues and support installation/commissioning.
Testing and inspection of equipment.
