Job summary

HMFT Inc. in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Service Technician (Millwright) to service pumps and motors at our Edmonton branch. You will repair, align, and test equipment, travel to customer sites, and support installation and commissioning while upholding safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial mechanical work, journeyman millwright certification, and a valid passport for USA training. Forklift license and H2S Alive are assets. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial mechanical experience, including at least 1 year with pumps and motors.
• Capable of reading technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work around chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace mechanical components and machinery.
• Align pumps and motors to spec.
• Travel to customer sites for installation support and commissioning.
• Perform testing and inspection of equipment and provide customer service support.
