Job summary

Ketek Group Inc. is seeking a Water Transfer/Pumping Technician to join our field team, performing essential tasks on project sites or at Ketek shops. This role supports the growth of the Projects Team and offers a clear path for career advancement.

Qualified candidates have a valid Class 5 license, a High School Diploma, and oil sands site experience. Familiarity with pumping equipment, dewatering, and wheeled loaders is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid class 5 Driver's Licence and clean driver's abstract.
• High School Diploma.
• Experience working onsite in the oilsands is an asset.
• Experience in dewatering, well-testing, or water transfer.
• Experience towing a trailer.
• Experience operating a wheel loader and/or skid steer.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the mobilization, monitoring, troubleshooting, and demobilization of well pumps, diesel pumps, and electric submersible pumps.
• Maintain, repair, install, and service: generators, light towers, and heating equipment.
• Identify faulty/damaged equipment and/or defective materials and inform the supervisor of the problem.
• Complete assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, and timely manner

Water Transfer/Pumping Technician

The Water Transfer/Pumping Technician is essential to the execution of routine tasks either on a project site or at a Ketek shop. This position is vital to the growth of the Project's Team and is an important step toward the employee's career growth and therefore the enhancement of Ketek's field team.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with the mobilization, monitoring, troubleshooting, and demobilization of well pumps, diesel pumps, and electric submersible pumps.
