Job summary

Ketek Group Inc. seeks a Water Transfer/Pumping Technician to support routine tasks on project sites or at Ketek shops. This role is essential to the growth of the Project's Team and career progression within Ketek's field team.

Key duties include equipment mobilization and troubleshooting of pumps, servicing generators, and ensuring safe, timely task completion. Ten-hour and twelve-hour shifts with day and night coverage are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and clean driving record.
• Experience in dewatering, well-testing, or water transfer.
• Experience towing a trailer and operating heavy equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist mobilization, monitoring, troubleshooting, and demobilization of pumps (well, diesel, electric submersible).
• Maintain, repair, install, and service generators, light towers, and heating equipment.
• Identify faulty/damaged equipment and notify supervisor.
• Complete assigned tasks safely, efficiently, and on time.

Water Transfer/Pumping Technician

The Water Transfer/Pumping Technician is essential to the execution of routine tasks either on a project site or at a Ketek shop. This position is vital to the growth of the Project's Team and is an important step toward the employee's career growth and therefore the enhancement of Ketek's field team.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with the mobilization, monitoring, troubleshooting, and demobilization of well pumps, diesel pumps, and electric submersible pumps.
• Maintain, repair, install, and service: generators, light towers, and heating equipment.
• Identify faulty/damaged equipment and/or defective materials and inform the supervisor of the problem.
• Complete assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, and timely manner

Qualifications

• Valid class 5 Driver's Licence and clean driver's abstract
• High School Diploma
• Experience in dewatering, well-testing, or water transfer
• Experience towing a trailer
• Experience operating a wheel loader and/or skid steer
