Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for examination and records patient history.
• Prepares exam and treatment rooms and maintains medical supplies.
• Collaborates with personnel for smooth clinic operations.
• Administers injections and applies dressings under provider orders.
• Maintains patient files and enters data into electronic records.
• Facilitates phone screening and transports specimens.

Skills

Demonstrated knowledge of age specific principles

Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality

Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary team

Proficiency in computer and office equipment

Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Understand principles of asepsis

Education

Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program

Current Washington State MA certification or LPN licensure

Basic Life Support (BLS)
