The Position

The Learning Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, delivery, evaluation and ongoing management of training within the Pharma Technical network and supports Learning & Development programs.

Designing and Development of training
  • Acts as a partner to the Learning Partners, taking in requests for training delivery and deployment across PTx functions and the Manufacturing network. Partner with Learning Partners to understand business needs.

  • Conceptualize such PT-relevant training, including development of content and evaluation of technical needs for deployment. Develop trainings as requested by and aligned with Learning Partners; while adhering to the PT-wide guidelines and eLearning lifecycle SOP to ensure the content works properly in Cornerstone.

  • Act as a project manager for these trainings, partnering with HR Global Learning Solutions, Learning Center of Excellence (CoE) as well as employees across the global PT, to deliver a training solution within a specified time frame, adjusted to the customers’ needs.

  • Maintains and continuously learn new methods of content development and to be up-to-date with the changing technology for assigned learning solutions.

  • Identifies and analyses performance gaps, designs and develops training solutions based on defined user requirements and evaluates training effectiveness to meet customer needs.

Global Training Deployment, including measuring effectiveness
  • Create a global deployment plan for incoming training needs, partnering with Learning Partners

  • Manages learning project portfolios and is responsible for the development and delivery of training projects

  • Responsible for quality and results-focused training solutions ranging from a variety of instructor-led to web-based formats that serve either local or global audiences. May measure training adherence and effectiveness to ensure “right first time”.

Support PT(x) Learning & Development Programs
  • Supports the launch and ongoing management of programs. This includes planning and execution in collaboration with Global Learning Services (GLS) and the PT Development Program Partners.

General
  • Acts as a change agent to improve the PT Learning culture to focus on competency and to improve overall PT standardization of learning efforts, using the Lean Production System (LPS).

Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 3-5 years equivalent work experience

  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience in program management, learning theory, instructional design and training delivery

  • Knowledge of GMP and Health Authority regulations and training requirements

  • Proficiency in Cornerstone on Demand

  • Project management skills to drive implementation of learning solutions, to coordinate various stakeholders and adhere to timeline, delivering a training that satisfy customers’ demands

  • Ability to provide advanced coordination support to learning partners for deployment

  • Strong system and analytical thinking skills to bring holistic business perspective

  • Ability to work in global teams in an agile setting
