University of Guelph is seeking Teaching Assistants, Graduates Service Assistants and Sessional Lecturers for the Winter 2027 term (PSYC*3470 Putting Psychology to Work). The role involves grading, student consultations, and invigilation, with in-person course delivery.

Applicants must be enrolled in a masters or doctoral psychology program and able to work on campus in Ontario. Assignments include 0.5 (70 hours) loads and responsibilities such as orientation, office hours, and timely feedback

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a masters or doctoral degree in Psychology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities required.
• Good time management and organizational skills needed.
• Experience with grading students, including online grading.
• Ability to provide timely, constructive feedback aligned with rubrics.

Responsabilités

• Orientation and training of students.
• Maintain office hours for student consultations.
• Prepare course-related materials and coordinate with instructor.
• Consult with students on assignments and progress.
• Attend meetings as required by the course instructor.
• Grade written work within two weeks with feedback.
• Invigilate exams as needed.
