A leading health services provider in Nova Scotia is seeking a Psychologist for their Operational Stress Injury Clinic. The role involves delivering specialized mental health assessments and treatments to Veterans and their families. Candidates should possess a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and have a strong background in evidence-based therapies for PTSD, anxiety, and mood disorders. Our team provides a variety of inpatient and outpatient services including academic, tertiary, and quaternary care, as well as continuing care, primary health care, public health, and mental health and addictions.
The OSI Clinic provides specialized mental health assessment and treatment to clients and their families referred by Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), RCMP, and the Department of National Defense (DND), who are experiencing work-related psychological stress and trauma (e.g. posttraumatic stress disorder, and other anxiety disorders; Depression; Chronic Pain, etc.). The services of the OSI Clinic are provided by an interdisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and an occupational therapist. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Psychologist delivers mental health assessment and treatment services to Veterans and their families.

Permanent, Full Time (100%) Position; 75 hours bi-weekly
Psychologist PHD - $54.05 hourly
Psychologist PHD Candidate Registered (Step 3) - $60.80 hourly
Psychologist PHD (Step 4-6) - $64.18 - $69.25 hourly
