Work location: Monarch House - Leaside

Job Types: full-time permanent role available with the option of a 4-day or 3-day work week

Salary: $90,000.00-$115,000 per year

As a Psychologist on our team you will report to the Chief Clinical Officer, and work as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will provide psychological assessments (cognitive, adaptive, and psycho-educational) to children up to the age of 15.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:

  • Fully registered with the College of Psychology of Ontario
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent related experience working with parents and children impacted by a mental health and or developmental disorder
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Specific expertise and experience in psychological assessment with low mental ability or behaviour disordered populations is essential.
  • Specific knowledge of and experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, the Autism Diagnostic Observational Scale, and the Autism Diagnostic Interview will be an asset.
  • Knowledge of developmental disorders
  • Ability to plan and organize workload and establish priorities.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, decision-making and problem solving.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of community dynamics, agencies and resources.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Ability to deal effectively with wide range of community and facility contacts.
  • Ability to respect client\'s rights, values and preferences including multi-cultural issues.
  • Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with specific training in Psychological assessment.
