Job summary

A health authority in Canada is seeking a qualified Mental Health Nurse to provide direct nursing care and develop rehabilitation programs. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of psychiatric nursing experience, relevant registration, and CPR certification. Qualifications

• A minimum of one year recent psychiatric nursing experience with adults with various mental disorders.
• Registration as a practicing RN or RPN registrant.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and core mental health services.
• Develop and maintain clinical services and client-centered rehabilitation programs.
• Contribute to monitoring and enhancement of the physical site.

Education

Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
